Anna Troëng, is Senior Advisor to the Director General for Communication and Spokesperson of the European Parliament, Jaume Duch, since 2017. As an advisor, at her own initiative, Anna took on the responsibility to drive change internally in areas related to communication, in particular gender equality, diversity and inclusion. She also launched projects related to efficiency and innovation, at times through participatory methods. In 2019, Anna launched the internal DG COMM Innovation Talks, inviting external speakers, to offer colleagues’ inspiring updates on trends in the field of communications.
Her previous experiences include running the Spanish branch of an oral health company as Sales and Marketing Manager during six years. Anna holds a Master’s degree in Communication Management from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (Spain).
