Raffaella is Head of the Press service of the European Parliament; she coordinates over 50 press officers of the Institution dispersed across the 27 Member States, plus a team of 12 project managers in Brussels. The Unit is tasked with matching the Parliament’s agenda and political priorities with the news in each and every EU country: this led her to skillfully master the mapping of the EU media landscape as well as the complexity of European politics. She regularly animates seminars, briefings and roundtables about the EU legislative priorities with Members of Parliament and other speakers, and takes part in debates about the communication policy of the EU, the future of media, and the role of female leadership in fostering a safe and inclusive work environment.
