Dr. Mahasen Aljaghoub is a distinguished legal scholar, national policymaker, and advocate for gender equality and human rights.
She currently serves as a Member of the Jordanian Senate (Upper House of Parliament), having been appointed for three consecutive terms, and is an influential figure in shaping legislative and social reform in the region.
Dr. Aljaghoub is the current Chair of the Youth Dialogue Committee in the Senate and has previously served as Chair of the Education Committee, where she played a leading role in developing inclusive educational policies and promoting youth engagement in governance.
With over two decades of academic and legal expertise, she is a Professor of International Law, and a trusted advisor to government bodies and international institutions on constitutional law, transitional justice, and women’s rights.
