Maithreyi Seetharaman is a London-based international journalist, broadcaster, and entrepreneur with over two decades of global media experience. She founded Facultas Media in 2013, creating and hosting editorial content for clients worldwide. A seasoned speaker and moderator, she co-founded the GLOBSEC Women Leaders’ Council, co-chairs the Globsec Forum and Tatra Summit, and regularly leads high-level leadership events.
She currently hosts Dow’s flagship podcast Plastics Unwrapped, writes the global women’s leadership newsletter The Chief Brief, advises U.S. non-profit Journey, and serves on the advisory board of Ukrainian NGO Impact Force.
Previously, she was Director of Live Media Content (International) at Fortune, and Co-Chair of Fortune Most Powerful Women International, the Fortune Global Forum, and Brainstorm Design. She created and hosted Euronews’ Real Economy and the award-winning Inspire Middle East, anchored Squawk Box Europe on CNBC, and was anchor and stocks editor at Bloomberg Television in London and New York. She began her career at The Financial Express in India and was a prime time anchor during CNBC India’s launch.
She holds master’s degrees in International Relations (Syracuse University) and Journalism (Bond University, Australia).
